The Pacific Airmotive Corporation (PAC) of Burbank,
California rebuilt and modernized a number of Beech D18S aircraft in the
early 1960’s. The work involved installing a new single fin, a tricycle
undercarriage, larger cabin windows, a cabin air-stair door, new engine
cowlings, exhaust stacks and wingtips. A small number remain airworthy.
