Paramount Cabinaire 165

The Paramount Aircraft Corporation was founded in 1928 by Joseph Behse at Saginaw, Michigan. The company’s first design was the Cabinaire 110 (7 built) which was first flown in 1929 powered by a 110hp (81kW) Warner Scarab. The Cabinaire 165 was a modified version of an existing Cabinaire 110. Another Model 110 was also adapted to take a 165hp(122kW) Continental A-70 and designated Cabinaire A-70. The Paramount Sportster (1 built) was first flown in 1931 powered by a 110hp Warner Scarab. The Company ceased operations in 1932 and today only the Cabinaire 165 remains airworthy after a number of rebuilds.
