The Parks P-1 was built by the Parks Aircraft
Corporation of East St. Louis, Illinois. Designed as a trainer it was
more commonly used as a tourer and was also available with a
165hp(123kW) Wright, designated Parks P-2A (10 built) with a maximum
take-off weight of 2380lb(1080kg). It is believed that one example of
the P-1 or P-2A is maintained in airworthy condition.
