Partenavia AP.68TP-300 Spartacus

The Spartacus was a turboprop derivative of the P.68 developed jointly by Partenavia and Aeritalia. A prototype six seat version first flew in 1978 as the AP.68TP. This aircraft which had a retractable undercarriage was followed by two 9 seat AP.68TP-100’s with fixed undercarriages in 1981. The Spartacus superseded these and entered production in 1983. The type was designed for a variety of roles including air ambulance, aerial survey, freighter, air taxi and coastal patrol.
