The P.66C Charlie was selected by the Aero Club
d’Italia as the standard basic trainer for Italian flying clubs. It was
a four seat version of the P.66B and production ended in 1980. A two
seat version, the P.66T Charlie, was flown in 1976 powered by a
110hp(82kW) Lycoming but it was not a success and only one was built.
The P.66C is still to be found in reasonable numbers in Italy.
