The PC-12 is destined to be the most successful of
the Pilatus designs. A fully pressurized business and commuter aircraft
It is also operated worldwide as a utility aircraft and corporate
transport. A dedicated cargo version is being considered. It is also
operated by the air forces of Bulgaria, South Africa and the United
States, where it is designated U-28A. Improved versions are the PC-12/45
which has an empty weight of 5,732lb(2600kg) and a maximum take-off
weight of 9920lb(4500kg). The PC-12/47 has a maximum take-off weight of
