Quicksilver GT 500    


Quicksilver Manufacturing of Temecula, California were always at the front of ultralight developments and among their products was the single seat version of the GT 500, the GT 400 which was powered by a 50hp(37kW) Rotax 503 and with a maximum take-off weight of 570lb(259kg). The two seat Quicksilver MXL 11 Sport (2000+ built) powered by a 50hp Rotax is one of the most popular ultralights in the world. Other variations of this aircraft are the two seat MX 11 Sprint (500+ built) which can be used as a crop sprayer. The MX Sprint is the single seat version powered by a 40hp(29kW) Rotax 447 and with a maximum take-off weight of 525lb(238kg). The MX Sport is the single seat version of the MXL 11 Sport.
