The Motor Spatz was basically a powered version of
the Scheibe L-Spatz glider and was initially built as the SF-24A (28
built) powered by a 21hp(16kW) Brandl ZB-300. It was one of the earliest
powered gliders and a small number remain in airworthy condition.
