Scintex ML250 Rubis

Founded in 1956 by Jean Michel Vernhes, Societe Scintex began building the Piel Emeraude under licence and developed the CP.301C Emeraude and the CP.130-C3 Super Emeraude (23 built) and the CP.1325 C3 (17 built). The Rubis featured a retractable tailwheel undercarriage. Despite the fact that it had a reasonable performance the type failed to make much impact on the market and production ended in 1964. Four are extant of which at least two remain airworthy.
