Before the Taylorcraft
Aviation Corporation went out of business in 1946, the company had
designed a four seat version of the Model BC-65, the Model 15 Foursome,
which was powered by a 150hp(112kW) Franklin. When Taylorcraft Inc. was
formed in 1949 it was put into production as the Model 15A Tourist.
