Tecnam P 92 Echo     


Construzione Aeronautiche Tecnam was formed in 1986 by Luigi Pascale and his brother and the company’s P92 Echo has been a tremendous success with more than 30% of production going overseas. The P92-J (15+ built) was first flown in 1995 and features airframe differences including bulged doors to give increased cabin width, and has a maximum take-off weight of 1146lb(520kg). The P92-S is powered by a 100hp (75kW) Rotax 912S and has a maximum take-off weight of 1323lb(600kg) It is an improved version of the P92 Echo and features a modified engine cowling, wing, fin and extra rear windows. The P92-Echo is an improved version of the P92-S with a contoured fuselage and slotted flaps. The P92JS is an upgraded version of the P92-J with a wingspan of 30’6"(9.28m) and a maximum take-off weight of 1212lb (550kg). The P92 Seasky, first flown in 1997, is a floatplane version of the P92 Echo. A P92J is illustrated below.
