The Buckaroo was developed from the Globe GC-1B Swift
as a basic military trainer and was evaluated by the USAF as the YT-35.
The US military purchased 10 examples as the T-35A and these were
supplied to the Saudi Arabian Air Force as primary trainers. The design
lost out to a USAF order for trainers to the Beech T-34 Mentor. A few
remain airworthy in the United States.
