The TT-1 Pinto lightweight primary trainer was the
first jet trainer ordered by any of the US military services. The US
Navy ordered 14 examples for an evaluation program in 1959, however no
further orders were procured. A handful of Pintos have survived and at
least one example remains airworthy in civil markings.
