Theiss Speedster

Theiss Aviation Inc. was founded in 1991 by Shawn M. Theiss. The company initially designed and built a tiny ultralight, the Speedster, based on the inter-war racers in the United States. At least two have been built and the company provided plans and parts to homebuilders until 1998 when the whole project was put on the backburner due to contracts received from the US military to build a series of UAV’s (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).
