The Belfair was basically a post-war cabin version of
the Tipsy B which was first flown in 1935. Twenty Tipsy B's were built
in Belgium prior to the war. The Tipsy Trainer (18 built) was
constructed in England by Tipsy Aircraft Ltd. Several
examples of the Belfair and Trainer remain
airworthy. A Tipsy Trainer is illustrated below.
