Tradewind Prop Jet Bonanza

The Tradewind Turbines Corporation of Amarillo, Texas provided turboprop conversions on post 1979 model Beech A36 and A36TC Bonanzas. The original 300hp (223kW) Continetal IO-550-B piston engine is replaced with an Allison turboprop. Apart from economies in maintenance and operating costs the installation of the turboprop confers major performance improvements to the Bonanza.
