The UTVA-75 was designed as a two seat utility
aircraft and was used as a trainer and glider tug. Examples were
delivered to the Yugoslav Air Force and civil flying schools. The
UTVA-75A 41 (2 built) was a 4 seat development which first flew in 1986
with the same powerplant as the UTVA-75 and with a maximum take-off
weight of 2564lb (1163kg). This did not enter production although one
remains airworthy in the United Syates. The UTVA 75A G11 was a single
seat agricultural version first flown in 1989 powered by a 300hp(223kW)
Lycoming IO-540-L1. Only one was built and has since been destroyed. The
UTVA 75R was the designation given to a single UTVA 75A 21 which was
upgraded with a new instrument panel etc. Examples of the UTVA-75 remain
airworthy in the states of the former Yugoslavia.
