Van's RV-10

The most impressive project from Van’s Aircraft is the RV-10 touring aircraft which is the company’s first four seater. It features a fixed tricycle undercarriage and there are no plans at present to make either a tailwheel or retractable gear version available. Kits for this high performance homebuilt are available from Van’s Aircraft of Aurora, Oregon. The Van’s series is of interest in that the RV-5 Swinger which was first flown in 1977 powered by a 32hp(24kW) VW engine was not made available as a kit and only the prototype was built.
