The Varga Aircraft Corporation of Arizona bought the rights to the Shinn 2150 in 1967 from William J Morrisey who had designed the type. Varga built the type as the Varga 2150A Kachina (121 built), some of which were subsequently converted to tailwheel configuration as the Model 2150TG. The Model 2180 was the higher powered version. Production ended in 1982. A Model 2150A is illustrated below.
