The Weedhopper was designed by John F. Chotia and has
undergone numerous improvements throughout the years. The Weedhopper 11
is a side-by-side two seat version which first flew in 1989 and is
generally powered by a 52hp(38kW) Rotax 503 and has a maximum take-off
weight of 840lb(381kg). Many thousands of Weedhopper kits have been sold
around the world and they are still available from Weedhopper USA of
Edwards , Missouri.
