The Windecker AC-7 Eagle 1 was designed by Leo
Windecker as a high performance light aircraft built from glass
reinforced plastic (GRP). Windecker Research built eight examples before
financial problems ended production. Four examples are known to exist
with at least one remaining airworthy. One was re-engined with an
Allison 250 turboprop.
