Wing Derringer

The Derringer was designed by John W Thorp as a twin engined derivative of his Thorp T-11 Sky Scooter. It was unusual in that it was a two seat twin engined aircraft. It was eventually put into production by the Wing Aircraft Co. which was founded by George Wing who had been an engineer with North American during World War 11. The Wing company went bankrupt in 1982. Ten examples survive of which three or four are possibly airworthy.
