Wittman V-Witt


Steve Wittman designed the V-Witt specifically for the Formula V racing class and flew his own example at the Cleveland races in 1979 setting three new class records. He had first flown at Cleveland in 1929! Plans for the V-Witt are available from Aircraft Spruce & Specialty of Corona, California. Steve Wittman’s last design was the Wittman O&O Special (Oshkosh to Ocala) a two seater similar to the Tailwind.
