Bill Wolfe has updated the original drawings for the
Spratt Controlwing which was developed by George G. Spratt in 1939 and
it was updated regularly over the following forty years with different
powerplants. The Contrawing features an engine built into the hull
driving a long shaft propeller between a vee-shaped tail. The parasol
wings are hinged separately and move automatically to maintain a
constant angle of attack in flight. This can be overridden by the pilot
with an auxiliary pitch stick. Plans are available from Bill Wolf of
Rogers, Arizona.
