Xi'an (Yunshuji) Y7-100

The Xi’an Aircraft Company built a number of versions of the Antonov AN-24 twin turboprop transport. The Y7 (70+ built) was an improved AN-24 and it entered production in 1983 with service entry with CAAC commencing in 1984. The Y7-100 was fitted with winglets which reduced fuel consumption, and also featured an updated cockpit. The Y7-200 first flew in 1993 powered by 2x 2750shp (2051kW) Pratt & Whitneys but this version is not thought to have entered production. Also known as the Yunshuji Y-7, only about 12 of these aircraft have been noted in civil markings.
