Yeoman Aviation was formed in 1958 and developed the
Kingsford Smith KS.3 Cropmaster, which was an agricultural conversion of
the Commonwealth CA-6 Wackett, as the YA-1 Cropmaster 250. It was
designed by C.W. Smith and had a 23 cubic feet hopper with a maximum
load of 1740lb (789kg). One example was modified as the three seat
Yeoman Hanes YA-1. It is believed that possibly two remain airworthy.
