The CH 601XL is an upgraded version of the earlier
CH-601 and has been designed with the new FAA sport pilot and light
aircraft category in mind. It features new wings of greater area, a
redesigned canopy, new landing gear and increased baggage area.
Alternative powerplants are the 116hp (86kW) Lycoming O-235 and the
100hp (75kW) Rotax 912S.
