The KR-2 is a side by side two seat version of the
single seat KR-1 which was designed by Kenneth Rand and which made its
first flight in 1972. The KR-2T is a tandem two seat version. The KR-2S
is a stretched version with a length of 15’10"(4.82m), a wingspan of
23’0"(7.01m) and a maximum take-off weight of 980lb(445kg). Plans were
available to homebuilders from Rand Robinson Engineering Inc. of
California. A KR-2T has been fitted with a small turboprop.
