Rans S-4/5 Coyote     


The Rans designs of Randy Schlitter began with the prototype S-2 which was first flown in March 1983. It was subsequently modified to S-3 standard and first flown as such in September 1983. The production S-4 version made its first flight in December 1983. The S-4 is the tailwheel version and the S-5, first flown in January 1984, has a tricycle undercarriage.
