Rawdon Brothers Aircraft Inc. was formed in 1937 at
Wichita, Kansas by Herb and Gene Rawdon. The Model T-1 was developed
from the company’s first design the Model R-1 two seat trainer which was
built in prototype form only. The T-1 was built in a number of variants
including the T-1CS (2 built) powered by a 125hp(93kW) Lycoming, the
Model T-1S(9 built) crop sprayer, the Model T-1SD (7 built) single seat
crop sprayer and the Model T-1M (4 built) military trainer for the
Colombian Air Force. Six remain airworthy.
